The initial interaction with Coca-Cola brought forth the challenges and potential roadblocks in the MyCCEP system. As the B2B ordering space grows more competitive, the need for a smooth, efficient, and reliable platform became paramount. Given the extensive reach of Coca-Cola's clientele, the stakes were high.

The solution was clear: an entire redesign, driven by meticulous Figma designs, powered by the Vue.js framework on the frontend, and backed by Salesforce's robust backend capabilities. Migration from Vue 2 to Vue 3 was an essential part of this transformation, leveraging the latest features and optimizations offered by the upgraded framework. Some legacy packages couldn't make the cut and had to be redeveloped from scratch, ensuring compatibility and enhancing performance.

What we did

In our journey to revamp the MyCCEP system, we began with a thorough Frontend Redesign in Vue.js. This encompassed a component-by-component rewrite grounded in detailed Figma designs. The result was an interface that was not only visually appealing but also functionally intuitive. The process involved a strategic Migration to Vue 3 from Vue 2. This wasn't a mere version update but a comprehensive restructuring of the codebase to harness Vue 3's advanced features, which culminated in an enhanced performance and a superior developer experience.

Parallelly, the Backend Integration with Salesforce was vital. We developed a robust architecture to ensure a seamless data synchronization with Salesforce, guaranteeing real-time data accuracy for B2B orders. The emphasis was on building a reliable backend infrastructure that could adeptly handle a vast volume of B2B transactions.

The translation of Figma Designs into the platform was executed with meticulous precision, ensuring a consistent and user-centric design across all components. The goal was to prioritize user experience, making the ordering process swift and straightforward.

Lastly, not all existing packages aligned with our vision. We took the initiative to Develop Key Packages from Scratch. These were not only optimized for peak performance but also designed with future adaptability in mind. This approach secured a foundation that was both modular and scalable, ready to adapt to future technological evolutions.

The result of these concerted efforts is a MyCCEP system that stands out in its efficiency, design, and adaptability, fully equipped to cater to the demands of Coca-Cola's vast B2B clientele.
