Google Analytics

Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
IP Anonymization We have activated IP anonymization on this website. This means Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA.
Data Processing Terms In accordance with our agreement with Google, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

For instructions on how to do this, please visit: Google Ads Support - Control the ads you see. For more information about Google Signals, please refer to: Google Analytics Help - About Google Signals.
UserIDs In addition to Google Analytics 4, this website may use the "UserIDs" feature. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR, have created an account on this website, and log in on various devices with this account, your activities, including conversions, can be analyzed across devices.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of data regarding members' visits to our website, including URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics, and timestamp. This data does not personally identify individuals but is aggregated by LinkedIn for reporting and analysis.

Improving Advertising
This website uses Google Ads Conversion Tracking. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Ireland.
With Google Ads Conversion Tracking, we can determine if a website visitor has performed certain actions. For instance, we can evaluate how often buttons on our website were clicked. This information serves to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and which actions they took. We do not receive information that could personally identify the user.
We use this service based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We use the anonymized analysis of user behavior to optimize our website and advertising. If appropriate consent has been obtained (e.g., consent to store cookies), processing is solely based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
More information about Google Ads Conversion Tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy: Google Privacy.
Newsletter
Subscription and Consent To subscribe to our newsletter, we require your email address and confirmation that you are the owner of the email address and wish to receive our newsletters. Additional data is not mandatory and can be provided voluntarily. This data is used solely for sending the requested newsletters and is not shared with third parties.
You give us your consent to process your data for the newsletter (as per Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) when you subscribe. This consent can be withdrawn at any time, such as by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any newsletter. This revocation does not affect the legality of past data processing.
Data Retention and Unsubscription The information you provide for the newsletter will be stored until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, your data is removed from our distribution list. We may, under our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR), remove or block email addresses at our discretion.
Post-Unsubscription Handling Upon unsubscription, your email address may be retained in a blacklist by us or our service provider to prevent future mailings. This list is used solely for this purpose and is not combined with other data, aligning with legal requirements for newsletter distribution (legitimate interest under Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The retention in the blacklist is indefinite, but you can request removal if you believe your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

Depending on the functionality, Zapier can also capture various personal data.
We use Zapier based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most effective integration of the tools used. Data Processing Agreement We have entered into a data processing agreement with SendGrid. This legal contract, mandated by data protection laws, obligates SendGrid to process the personal data of our website visitors solely based on our directives and in accordance with GDPR standards.
Application Procedure
Handling of Applicant Data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g., via email, by mail, or through an online application form). Below, we outline the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure that the collection, processing, and use of your data comply with current data protection laws and all other statutory provisions. Your data will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Scope and Purpose of Data Collection
When you submit an application to us, we process the associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes during job interviews, etc.) as far as it is necessary to decide on establishing an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (general contract initiation) and - if you have given consent - Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. This consent is revocable at any time. Within our company, your personal data is shared only with individuals involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data submitted by you will be stored in our data processing systems based on § 26 BDSG and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.
Data Retention Period
If we cannot offer you a job, you reject a job offer, or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO) for up to 6 months from the end of the application procedure (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data is then deleted, and the physical application documents are destroyed. The storage serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will be required after the 6-month period expires (e.g., due to an impending or pending legal dispute), deletion will only occur when the purpose for further storage lapses.
Extended storage may also occur if you have given your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO) or if statutory retention requirements prevent deletion.
Inclusion in the Applicant Pool
If we do not make you a job offer, there may be an opportunity to include you in our applicant pool. In the case of inclusion, all documents and information from the application will be transferred to the applicant pool to contact you in case of suitable vacancies.
Inclusion in the applicant pool is based solely on your explicit consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). The submission of consent is voluntary and is unrelated to the ongoing application process. The affected person can revoke their consent at any time. In this case, the data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted unless there are legal retention reasons.
Data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been granted.
Social Networks
We are active on various social networks to provide information that might be of interest to you. Typically, these networks can analyze their user behavior extensively. Please note that we cannot fully understand all processing processes of the social networks.
If you contact our company's respective account on a social network, we process the personal data you provide to maintain contact with you on this network. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Depending on the provider, different processing operations may be carried out, which may be based on different legal bases. For more information, click on the links to go to the respective privacy policy:
